The goal of our department is to research develop and educate regarding a key part in the ultimate structural systems and advanced materials such as electrical, electronics, semiconductor, environmental, and energy.
Our department especially emphasizes the importance of specialization through cooperation and in conjunction with national projects such as fine ceramic technology innovation center, incubator fine ceramic center, ceramic material cluster, etc.,
we provide 1) abundant amount of scholarship to the students, 2) provide substantial hands-on training using the latest, most advanced equipments, and 3) provide a variety of fieldwork opportunities through about 60 ceramic industrial companies located in the Gangnung National Science Industrial Park.
Additionally, after graduation, we also provide not only employment opportunities in conjunction with cooperating companies but also provide extensive financial support and study and research opportunities through the Graduate School BK21 Business.
Recently, the Ceramic Field of the Gangnung National Science Industrial Park has been recognized as specialized areas so many companies are entering the Park and as a result, there is a lot of demand for labor in the Gangnung Region.
